This is a program built for Seed to Series A startups on the cusp of accelerated growth and interested in advancing their company’s sales, product, and leadership skills.

About the program
Google for Startups AI Academy: American Infrastructure is a four-month program designed for Seed to Series A startups that use AI to create solutions for vital sectors like agriculture, housing, transportation, cybersecurity, manufacturing, and education in the U.S. The program provides the support and resources needed to accelerate innovation in the systems that underpin everyday life, integrating cutting-edge Google AI technologies like Vertex AI, TensorFLow, Cloud AI Platform, Gemini into startups’ products and workflows.
Startups will receive dedicated mentorship from experts across Google, PR support, executive-level leadership coaching, sales and marketing training, tailored product design sprints, and more. While the majority of the program will take place virtually, founders will also have the opportunity to connect in person during a summit at Google.

Entry criteria
Entry criteria
- At least one technical and one U.S./U.S. territory-based cofounder required.
- Based in the US/US territories.
- Seed to Series A.
- Building with or leveraging AI in their product or operations.
- Have at least six months of runway.
- Post-revenue or strong demonstration of traction.

This includes areas ripe for innovation, such as: housing, cybersecurity, education, healthcare, water, urban planning, and agriculture. These are fundamental sectors where impactful solutions can build a stronger, more resilient future in the U.S.
The program is virtual with in-person opportunities taking place throughout the year.
Applications open on April 16th, 2025 and close on May 13th, 2025. Late applications will not be considered. The program will kickoff in mid-June 2025.
This program is more than just resources, it's a community built for growth. While a minimum of two hours a week is recommended, the startups who thrive are those who actively engage, participate in discussions, and leverage all available opportunities.
