About the program
Google for Startups Accelerator: Southeast Asia 2023 is a 3-month, equity-free hybrid program for Seed to Series A startups across Southeast Asia. This year's cohort will be focusing on Vietnam-based startups only as we partner with Vietnam National Innovation Center and the U.S. Mission in Vietnam.
This Accelerator program aims to support and accelerate top Vietnam startups via in-person and virtual activities, 1:1 mentoring, and group learning sessions.
The Accelerator program features deep dives and workshops focused on business model, product design, business growth, and leadership development. Selected startups will also benefit from dedicated Google’s Play, Cloud, Android, AI/ML and Ads expertise and receive credits via the Google for Startups Cloud Program. These offerings set this accelerator apart.

Entry Criteria
Entry Criteria
- Startups based in Vietnam with tech solutions solving a meaningful challenge.
- Startups from all industries, preferred but not limited to education, healthcare, agriculture, fintech, environment, retail and smart city.
- Building a scalable product or service with a significant total addressable market and defensible growth model.
- Startups demonstrating traction, ideally between Seed and Series A stage, and have a team of 5 or more.
- Commitment from CEO, CTO and/or technical roles to participate and engage in required program sessions.

This cohort of Google for Startups Accelerator: Southeast Asia 2023 will accept applications from Seed to Series A startups with a technology-based product from Vietnam. These companies should have products solving meaningful problems, launched to market with user traction. Their team should have full time cofounders and at least one fulltime tech leader.
Founders selected into the accelerator will outline the visions, key focuses and challenges of their startup. They will enter the 5-day in-person bootcamp with content curated for them and 1:1 mentoring/coaching sessions. The bootcamp content include deep dives and workshops focused on business, product design, business strategy, customer acquisition, and leadership development for founders. Participating startups will receive 1:1 mentorship and specialized support from our global mentor network, as well as access to Google's Cloud, Play, Android, AI/ML, and Ads experts. After the bootcamp, startup and program team will continue to have mentoring and coaching sessions along with open workshops in the next 5 weeks leading to Graduation and Demo Day.
This cohort of Google for Startups Accelerator: Southeast Asia 2023 will run from October 13th to December 15th 2023. The bootcamp week will take place from October 23rd to October 27th, 2023 in Ho Chi Minh city. The follow-up workshops and mentoring will take place virtually from November 3rd to December 10th. This accelerator will run on Vietnam Standard Time (GMT +7).

We are looking for Vietnamese startups that are solving meaningful problems with technology-based solutions with criteria listed above.
We review the completed applications from the startup in parallel to the application phase to check their eligibility for the accelerator program. The eligible applications will be reviewed by a panel of experts/program team and shortlist 50 startups for the interview/pitch session to evaluate the team, problem, solution and scalability. Then the shortlisted startups from the interview/pitch phase will be reviewed by the selection board for the final list. The final list of startups will receive the program contract to sign for the official announcement.
